Bringing Traffic Safety Education to Your Neighborhood

The Mobile Traffic Garden is our portable, pop-up version of a mini street system—designed to roll into community events, school playgrounds, parks, and festivals to teach kids real-world safety skills in a fun, hands-on way.

Using chalked or painted pathways, removable traffic signs, portable traffic signals, and plenty of imagination, we transform open spaces into safe environments where kids can walk, bike, and scoot through everyday traffic scenarios—without the real-world dangers.

What Kids Learn at the Mobile Garden

Our interactive setup helps children build confidence and knowledge around:

  • Recognizing common traffic signs and signals

  • Practicing how to cross the street safely

  • Understanding where and how to ride on sidewalks or bike paths

  • Checking helmets, tires, and brakes before riding

  • Navigating intersections, crosswalks, and roundabouts

  • Using hand signals and learning to share the space

Flexible. Fun. Educational.

The Mobile Traffic Garden can be set up in a variety of locations, including:

  • School playgrounds

  • Farmers markets & festivals

  • Library or community center parking lots

  • Public parks and green spaces

Each pop-up event is tailored to the space and audience, and includes trained volunteers, educational signage, and even QR codes for take-home learning materials.
